Current Emergency Information

🌧️ Heavy rain and flash flooding are possible this week.

According to the National Weather Service, a slow-moving cold front will bring multiple chances for heavy rainfall late today, Tuesday, Sept. 29, through Friday, with the greatest risk for heavy rain and flash flooding Wednesday night through Friday.

🌧️ Widespread rainfall totals of 2–4 inches are possible, with isolated amounts of up to 8 inches.

Now is the time to prepare:

🏠 Stock up on essential supplies in case you need to stay home.

🚗 Never drive through flooded roadways. Turn Around, Don’t Drown. It only takes a small amount of moving water to create dangerous conditions.

Stay weather aware, monitor local forecasts and alerts, and use extra caution as conditions change throughout the week.
